Special Lighting

We offer a range of special lighting options apart from the standard spotlight: Arri Spotlight 650W. Please contact your Logistic Manager for further information.

Painted Walls

To order walls painted in a color other than white please contact Logistic Management with the specified color code (RAL or NCS). Specialized paint such as Farrow & Ball is also available at an additional cost.

lf the exhibitor choses to paint himself, please be aware of the regulations below in order to avoid expensive repairs to the walls:

• Use emulsion paint only (sheen level: matte, but no silk or satin)
• Use only solvent-free paints
• Do not use acrylic paints
• Do not use silk, satin, or gloss varnish

Wallpaper Application

Only wallpaper which uses an adhesive without synthetic resin can be used to apply directly onto the wall elements provided. If this is not given the installation of an additional reinforcement onto the wall elements is necessary with additional costs as protection.

In case of such an installation please contact Logistic Management for further assistance.

For all applications, please send a small sample of the selected wallpaper. Installation needs confirmation from Logistic Manager.

Ceilings

We offer a wide range of ceiling constructions (white/black fabric or wooden ceiling).

If you decide to have a special ceiling, it might be necessary to order special lighting as well.

In addition it will be necessary to install a fire detection system in all exhibitions with closed ceilings that are larger than 30m². Depending on the booth design and size of the ceiling, exhibitors will have to install one or more fire detectors on the ceiling as well as place a fire control box within the booth at the expense of the exhibitor. The fire control box must be easily accessible in the booth at all the times.

In case of such an installation, please contact Logistics Management for further information. All ceiling constructions must be approved by Logistics Management.

Hanging Objects from the Hall Ceiling

According to the safety regulations of MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd., exhibitors are not permitted to suspend any objects from the hall ceiling themselves. Only suspension wires provided and installed by technicians employed by MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd. are permitted.

Please contact Logistic Management for further details and be sure to provide the following information:

• Total weight of the object that you plan to hang from the ceiling
• Exact position of the object within your booth
• Hanging points needed on your booth sketch

Hanging Objects from the Truss System

Any object planned to hang from the truss system must be communicated to Logistic Management with the following information:

• Total weight of the object that you plan to hang from the ceiling
• Exact position of the object within your booth

Special Constructions

We offer a wide range of custom-made wall constructions such as fascias, wall cut-outs, plinths and non-standard wall elements as well as individual booth constructions. Please contact Logistic Management for an adequate quote and further information.

Fire Regulations

Any materials used for booth construction not provided by Logistics Management are subject to specific fire ratings for health and safety.

Safes & Strong Boxes

Safes and Strong boxes are available in different sizes. For further information contact Logistic Manager.

Validity of Quotes

Construction estimates will have a maximum validity of 10 days unless otherwise noted.
